We are currently looking for a strong classic ASP developer to join the e-commerce department of a well-established medical equipment firm. While this opportuntiy is a committed ASP development role, this position will give the incumbant exposure to many cutting edge tools and resources used by several Fortune 100 companies in the e-commerce space. Expereinced web development and internet marketing professionals are highly desired, as the client is looking for a resource to help optimize the usability of their existing classic ASP sight. This position will provide a unique opportuntiy to develop a complete understanding of internet marketing within a successful organization |
| QUALIFICATIONS: |
• 4-7 yrs expereince working with Linux systems in all capacities • Expertise working with Unix kernal and network based sytems tuning • Strong scripting ability with Shell (ksh & bash) or Perl • Systems Analysis and planning expertise • String understanding of policy management, best practices and quality control • Experience with LVM volumes and GFS • Strong communication and interpersonal skills It is important to note that this IS NOT A .NET POSITION. While some .Net modules are used for specific functions, the majority of the work will deal only with classic ASP |
| RESPONSIBILITIES: | • Ability to write, read and dissect code • Experience with classic ASP, Vbscript, MS SQL (Queries and stored procedures) • Web 2.0, UI Creative Design skills • XML, AJAX • Expereince with web platforms, IIS website management, and Windows Server 2003 & 2008 environments |

We are currently accepting applications for a Linux Red-Hat Cluster Engineer. This is a fulltime position with a large enterprise client in New York, NY. It requires a candidate to demonstrate a high level of expertise and the ability to thrive when given mulitple responsibilities. Salary is dependant upon experience. |

| RESPONSIBILITIES: | • Management of a 1000's of Linux servers, running Red-Hat 4 and 5 in a team setting • Execute standard systems build practices to configure, troubleshoot, and build Linux systems • Interface with the business units, including development teams, to gather requirements, implement changes and support the systems, post implementation • Utilize standard tools such as for provisioning and configuration management • Script on a daily basis, with Shell or Perl • Make recommendations as to the management and improvement of existing systems • Monitor software related preformance issues • Function as a team member with strong written and verbal skills |
